The Saturday Tax Training Club
Meeting your CPD Requirements Off Line
Our highly skilled, well known, professional associate speakers firmly believe in the importance of face to face training, engaging with their audiences and allowing each delegate to focus on points pertinent to them and their businesses.
Although on-line training may provide an excellent opportunity to access CPD, participants solely using this platform have no opportunities to interact with the presenter which may adversely affect the quality of the training for them. In the classroom the presenter is able to gauge the audience’s reaction and implement strategies to keep them involved and as engaged as possible which will assist delegates in retaining the information and better able them to put it into practice. Nothing beats the opportunity of being able to ask questions of the presenter ensuring the training meets your personal objectives!
Led by Dr Ros Martin CTA, The Saturday Tax Club will give accountants and tax practitioners the opportunity to keep up to date with topical and pertinent tax issues relevant to their practice and their clients and offer participants 6 hours of face to face CPD per course.
Courses will be held:
- Twice a year
- On a Saturday
- From 09:30 to 17:30
- At an easily accessible location
Our first series, The Budget 2017 and other topical issues, is set to cover topics arising from the 2017 budget and will feature both Ros and Jeremy Mindell taking you through the changes and the challenges which affect you.
Discussion will focus on recent tax cases, latest developments and HMRC news supplemented with topical issues relevant to general practitioners in the areas of employment, personal, business and corporate taxes. Participants will have the opportunity to steer the content in advance of the day with a short pre-course questionnaire and both speakers will be delighted to answer your questions raised during the presentations to ensure you get the maximum benefit from the training.
Courses will be held on the following dates in 2017:
- West Midlands (M6 meets M42) – Saturday 22nd April
- London North (M1 meets M25) – Saturday 6th May
- London West (M3 meets M25) – Saturday 13th May
